This rebrand represents a massive shift in our product's capabilities, our technology, and our ultimate mission: moving away from traditional keyword-centric rank tracking and focusing entirely on complete, real-time AI visibility forensics, Share of Voice (SOV) metrics, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations for enterprise marketing.

## Why RankyPanky was Born - and Why It Had to Grow Up

When we first built **RankyPanky**, our goal was simple yet disruptive: to help webshop owners, CMOs, and marketing agencies stop tracking simple search rankings on Google and start tracking "Share of Voice" across the new web. The name "RankyPanky" reflected our lighthearted, agile approach to shaking up the traditional, stagnant SEO market.

But as our double-engine (BrandSifter and The Conductor) began processing tens of thousands of search phrases daily across OpenAI's Batch Engine, we realized something critical:

**AI Search is not about keywords. It is about entities and mentions.**

In the era of ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, buyers do not receive a list of matching search links. They receive synthesized, natural-language answers recommending specific brands. The metric of success is no longer *"where do we rank in the 10 blue links?"* but rather *"does the AI model mention our brand as the top recommendation, and what is our relative Share of Voice?"*

As we expanded our platform to include full citation url fanouts, developer API packages, and standard **Model Context Protocol (MCP)** server integrations, the name RankyPanky no longer represented the absolute depth, sophistication, and enterprise-grade power of the platform.

We needed a name that reflected our core value proposition: ensuring your brand gets a **FullMention** where it matters most.
